We designed our studio; it's filled with light and music. There are multiple meeting rooms, a well stocked kitchen, and an indoor garden (with fishpond). Pop-in for tea and stay to use a spare desk for as long as you need.

We’re next to Greenwich train and DLR station. We have a door right on the concourse but it’s different to our postal address.

Alex Gowan-Webster

Head of technology

Alex oversees and implements our technology solutions. From selecting systems to honing our hosting.

Like many of the best technologists, Alex has a musical background. He has an MA in Composition.

With training in neurodiversity, accessibility and inclusivity, he leads our work in these areas. Outside the studio he’s a trustee at Drake Music – leaders in music, disability and technology.

Anna Serocold

Head of design

Anna leads our design team and oversees the day-to-day creative output of the studio.

She manages many of our larger and higher profile projects, working across branding, digital, campaigns and editorial design.

And she curates our cultural calendar, commissioning a bespoke illustration each month.

Emma Burr


Emma is a specialist in user experience and user interaction design. She manages the design of many creative projects, working closely with our project managers and developers throughout the process.

She oversees our Everyday Cog selection and manages a lot of our social media posts.

Emily Jervis

Project Manager – retainer

Via a degree in fashion and years in social media and detailed data analytics, Emma gained a love of the arts through a role at English National Opera where she quickly progressed to managing the digital team.

At Cog she provides reatiner support and project delivery for numerous clients who love her ability to describe complex tasks in everyday language.

Kristina Iankova


Kristina spent several periods with us as an intern during her studies at London College of Communication. When she graduated, with a first class degree, we were delighted to welcome her into the full-time team.

She has led on numerous large-scale websites, providing big picture thinking and detail-focused implementation.

Laura Marshall

Resourcing Manager

With a background in planning and delivering marketing campaigns in the cultural and charity sectors, Laura joined us with a brief to overhaul our systems and processes.

She ensures that we have the right people, in the right place at the right time.

Michael Smith


A designer by training Michael founded Cog and has moulded the company around a belief in the power of culture to shape people’s lives.

He’s a regular commentator and speaker on design, empathy and sustainability. He is a Fellow at the RSA, a mentor with several universities and a trustee with the kindness charity, People United.

Nick Kime

Project Manager – websites

Nick expertly guides websites from initial briefings through to launch and beyond.

He is tenacious and detail focused to ensure that our sites are delivered on time and in budget, and are still stunning, effective and unique.

With a degree in acting, Nick found a love of ticketing via a training roles at ATG and Spektrix.  More recently Nick was Arts Council’s Tech Champion for ticketing and CRMs in their innovative Digital Culture Network. 

Tom Adcock

Project Manager – websites

After periods with Nottingham Playhouse and Derby Theatre, Tom brings a wealth of venue experience to managing our clients’ website projects.

Yomi Yusuf


With a degree in Digital Media Production from University of Arts London, Yomi worked as a freelance designer and developer before we snapped him up.

He bring the understanding and sensitivity of having worked directly with clients, ranging from independent charities to West End shows.

We’re not just a London-based team: we have a network of developers and designers across the globe. And when we need some extra help we have a pool of trusted associates in the UK with specialist skills, including developers, photographers, copywriters, illustrators and more.

Daniel Reid


Daniel travels the globe as an arts & culture digital developer. And he calls Tasmania his home. He’s a specialist in CRM integrations, with a focus on work with Tessitura and TNEW. He’s part of the very cool team at Dark Mofo and Mona.

Emiliano Fuksas

Lead Developer

Emi’s talents extend across all areas of web development. He handles much of our complex database integration work and he has developed many of our tools for integrating CRM platforms, ticketing systems and collection management software. His base a studio near Rome.

Mark Willians


Mark’s career centred around design and print before he took the plunge to become a full time developer. He’s never looked back although his understanding of layout and type hierarchy is a huge asset. At Cog Mark’s specialism is front-end development and translating designs across complex website builds. Mark lives and work in Taunton, Somerset.

Razvan Merla


Razvan is an experienced web developer, working across many CMS platforms. He manages many of our website builds and ticketing integrations including our TNEW, Spektrix. He also takes the lead on much of our back end and server-based development work. He is based in Bucharest, Romania.
